Notes on our project

Now, the used shuttlecocks go to the bin, but with our Integrated Managament System (IMS) we propose, the shuttlecocks are thrown away in an especific container to revalorice them.

The first part is done by the clubs and players, throwing away the shuttlecocks in our containers. Then, in the logistic phase, we transport all the waste to the valorisation centres, and finally, in these centres, we make other products with the used shuttlecocks.

There were two companies that tried to solve the problem of how to valorize used shuttlecocks, but they didn`t  reach it. We can do handycrafts and lower skilled trainings, but these are low scale solutions. So our solution is unique, because we propose local solutions to a global problem.
